first_imgPosition SummaryDuties for this position will include conducting NIH fundedresearch on the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying retinaldevelopment, using techniques including, but not limited to, mousegenetics, genomics, histology, molecular biology, and biochemistry.The incumbent will also be required to keep records of research,summarize and discuss findings with the supervisor, and reportscientific discoveries in scholarly journals and at scientificmeetings and conferences. Qualifications include a recent Ph.D.degree in biochemistry, developmental biology, or other relatedfields of life sciences. Knowledge in gene regulations anddevelopmental biology and good communication skills in English areessential. Experiences with techniques in molecular biology,histology, genomics, and mouse genetics are required.
