first_imgRobert KettermanRobert Ketterman, 64, entered heaven’s gates with his family at his side on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at his home with Arkansas City.Memorial services will be 1 p.m.., Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the First Assembly of God Church in Arkansas City with Pastor James Newman officiating. A memorial has been established with the First Assembly of God Church of Arkansas City and may be left with the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City. For further information please visit Lyn Ketterman was born July 6, 1949 in Winfield, the son of Mildred Wilkerson. He attended Wellington and Winfield schools.  On March 30, 1968 Robert was united in marriage to Naomi Hain in Wellington. He worked for Frisco Railroad for 27 years. Robert enjoyed playing the drums in a band and later he played drums for the worship band at the First Assembly of God Church in Arkansas City. He enjoyed different types of fishing; cranking, noodling and jug lining, hunting and Robert was an avid gardener. He most enjoyed spending time with his grandkids at the ball field, dance recitals, and boating on the lake. The past four years his relationship with the Lord was as if it were a life time.Robert is survived by his loving wife Naomi of the home; mother Mildred Wilkerson of Wellington; two daughters, Shonda Johnson and her husband Bruce of Arkansas City, and Shannan Klotz and her husband Brian of Arkansas City; four grandchildren, Cory & Tehillah Johnson and Kaghe & Kagon Klotz all of Arkansas City; and a brother Micheal Joe Ketterman of Wellington, two sisters, Melinda Bigler of Wellington and Theresa Kent of Oxford; as well as many nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his sister, Pam Newman and stepfather, Dale Wilkerson.last_img
