In the past three months, the teenager has been on peak form, and his recent heroic showcase against BGS National Public School in the final of the BTR Shield under-14 Group I, Division II tournament is grabbing everyone’s attention.Samit scored an eye catching 211 runs from 144 balls, including asn astounding number of 24 boundaries and a single six. The youngster’s gigantic score ensured a huge 132 run victory for Mallya Aditi IS in the final, and to clinch the trophy at the RSI cricket ground.Advertisement Samit was the highest scorer of the tournament, with 681 runs from five games, with three centuries and one half century.However, this is not the first time Samit has landed a double century. In fact, this is his third 200 in the Karnataka state inter school championships in the past three months. He grabbed eyeballs in the an U14 Karnataka state inter-zonal cricket match back in December 2019. Captaining for Vice-President’s XI, Samit landed a stunning 250-ball-201 against Dharwad Zone.Advertisement The teenager scored another double century for his school in this month. In an U14 BTR Shield match against Sri Kumaran Public School, the Mallya Aditi IS star put up another double century, scoring 204 runs in the match a couple of weeks back.With continuous performances like these, its no doubt that Samit is already under the radar of the senior team selectors.
